Well it has been a very busy past couple of weeks.
Science
We have been completing our science unit on properties and changes of materials. This unit has been about carrying out experiments. Our first experiment was to find the best insulating material for a lunch box. We tested tin foil, paper towels and cloths, our results showed that tin foil was the best insulator.
Next we checked if materials were soluble or insoluble and followed that seeing if temperature made a difference to how quick something dissolved.
Finally we investigated how to separate different materials, we mixed flour and raisins, sand and water, paperclips and rice and salt and water. We used sieving, filtration, magnetism and evaporation
to separate the materials.
Christmas crafts
We have been busy making crafts for the Christmas fair, thank you to everyone that came along and supported the school.
Learning Cafe
Thank you to everyone who supported our learning cafe, it was lovely to see you all. It was great to see such fantastic teamwork going on,supporting each other with our stars.
Finally thank you all for your support this term, we have had a fantastic term, with lots of hard work going on.
Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year.
